Bethesda and Interplay Settle Fallout Online Battle

A settlement has been reached in the Bethesda vs Interplay legal dispute involving Fallout Online.  The lawsuits began in 2009 and details of the settlement will be revealed later this month.

This leaves Fallout in the air, since it’s known that Interplay has been having financial trouble.  The agreement may involve some kind of investment, buyout, or trade off deal that would put Fallout either in someone else’s hands or with better backing.

The lawsuit was waged over ownership rights to the Fallout franchise.
